Creating Documents in MediaWiki
Follow these steps to create and manage documents.
Creating a New Page
1. Type the page title you want in the search bar. 2. If the page does not exist, you’ll see a link to **create this page**. 3. Click the link and start editing.
Using VisualEditor
- Use the toolbar buttons to add:
- Bold and Italic text
- Headings (for structure)
- Bullet points and numbered lists
- Links to other wiki pages or external websites
- Images (insert → media)
Saving Your Work
- Always add a short summary before saving.
- You can use **Preview** to check your formatting before publishing.
- Pages can be edited by others, so collaboration is easy.
Organizing Content
- At the bottom of the page, add categories:
