Office 365 / Email Access

1. Introduction
Office 365 provides access to your company email, calendar, contacts, and productivity applications such as Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
All employees are required to use their official company email account for work-related communication.
2. Login Credentials
You will receive your Office 365 login details from the IT Department, which include:
- Email ID (e.g., firstname.lastname@heinfricke.team or firstname.lastname@heinfricke.com)
- Temporary password (to be changed during first login)
3. How to Access Email on Your Laptop
- Open Outlook from the Start Menu.
- Enter your company email ID.
- Enter the password when prompted.
- Outlook will automatically configure your mailbox.
Once setup completes, you will see your inbox and can start using email.
4. Accessing Office 365 Online (Webmail)
You can access your email through a browser using:
Steps:
- Open Chrome/Edge.
- Go to the above URL.
- Login with your company email and password.
- Complete MFA verification.
5. Security Best Practices
Employees must:
- Never share email passwords.
- Avoid signing in on public or shared computers.
- Report suspicious emails or phishing attempts to IT.
