Creating Documents in MediaWiki

Follow these steps to create and manage documents.

Creating a New Page

1. Type the page title you want in the search bar. 2. If the page does not exist, you’ll see a link to **create this page**. 3. Click the link and start editing.

Using VisualEditor

• Use the toolbar buttons to add:
  • Bold and Italic text
  • Headings (for structure)
  • Bullet points and numbered lists
  • Links to other wiki pages or external websites
  • Images (insert → media)

Saving Your Work

• Always add a short summary before saving.
• You can use **Preview** to check your formatting before publishing.
• Pages can be edited by others, so collaboration is easy.

Organizing Content

• At the bottom of the page, add categories:
